Mom's Hot Fudge Sauce

Mom’s Hot Fudge Sauce

  • ½ c. Cocoa
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. White corn syrup
  • ½ c. Evaporated milk
  • ¼ t. Salt
  • 3 T. Butter
  • 1 t. Vanilla

Mix all ingredients, except vanilla, in saucepan.

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and boil for 3 minutes.

(DO NOT BOIL FOR LONGER THAN 3 MIN)

Remove from heat. Add vanilla.

This makes approximately 2 ½ cups.

Store in any airtight container in the refrigerator.

It will keep for weeks. (It probably won’t last that long though!)
